It all started on the beautiful island of Samos, Greece.
My mother spent her youth on this island, poor but loved and happy. She immigrated to the states at the age of 18 and learned English via American TV. No one in the house spoke English, so she knew this was her only way to become fluent. Though her language skills enabled her to make a life & adapt to U.S. ways and traditions, there always lingered a lack of fully utilizing and understanding the language, as well as truly understanding the cultural differences and how these two key components in life affected her day to day. She was and will always be my inspiration for doing the work I do.
To be fully comfortable and effective in America for your international business career purposes, learning to be proficient in English is critical for a highly successful outcome.
